Ice

A few days of subfreezing temperatures and our creek becomes iced over.

Iced over creek

It’s cold

For some reason, I really like to photograph ice formations. You can get abstractions, or interesting flows and curves. I’m lucky to have a creek in my back yard, so when the temperatures drop, it’s a good place photograph. Unfortunately, thanks to the periodic heavy rains and creek flooding, I also have to work around the crap (like cinderblocks and bricks and wood debris) that washes down into my portion of the creek.

Or should I say “crick?”
